This series of highly interactive workshops is aimed at the new Gen Z workforce and uses the latest research and organisational thinking to create powerful learning experiences for Gen Z attendees. Attendees will come to understand their own learning preferences, how they differ from previous generations, and develop the skills and knowledge to effectively communicate with their managers and colleagues.
For GenZers, we have created a unique development approach based on the latest research and over thirty years of delivering learning programmes. Workshops are one plus a half, that is, one initial day followed by a half day follow up. Our unique approach to GenZ learning has five stages and is known as CODER.
Facilitator led, typically 30 minutes where attendees agree the organisational context for the Workshop.
Facilitator led with attendee input, typically an hour where attendees confirm the objective of the Workshop.
Attendee led with facilitator support, the majority of the day where the areas of research are agreed and research undertaken. Research will be both technology based and face to face with key organisational stakeholders.
Attendee led with facilitator support, typically an hour where the attendees exchange findings with the workshop group.
Facilitator and attendee shared, typically 30 minutes where the group will agree action plans e.g. for further research, and next steps.
The follow up half day will follow the same format but with the majority of time spent on Exchange and Reinforce. The programme ensures that the attendees continue to implement the CODER insights between the first day and follow-up half day – and beyond.
While the organisation will set the key topics and / or issues, which the facilitator will deliver, these unique Workshops place the Gen Z attendees at the heart of the learning process. Responsible for their own research, feedback and next steps, this approach reinforces current research into how GenZers best learn and wish to be treated.
Materials, such as recommended websites, reading lists, appropriate theories etc will be available however, as will the facilitator, to help guide attendees towards productive, practical outcomes.
The content of the Workshops is based on the latest global research, supported by decades of practical knowledge in working with employees and managers from organisations across the globe.
These Skills Workshops are suitable for GenZers and members of support functions such as Human Resources and Recruitment who will interact with GenZ employees and candidates.
We work with clients to combine these Workshops into a co-ordinated learning programme for identified Gen Z groups such as graduates or intern cohorts.
